Growing up in the South is...interesting.  I've lived in the South for most of my life. My early years were spent traveling the globe with my family due to my father being in the Army.  I'm so grateful for the different cultures that I was able to experience during that time.  My father eventually retired and decided that we'd settle down in south Georgia aka small town America. There's a different kind of "culture" down in these parts.  The cuisine, places, people, atmosphere, climate....you know.  It kind of grows on you.  Over the years, I've learned to accept the Southerner in me.  

I set up this blog to show off my unique Southern living.  Delicious (and good for you!) recipes, ethnic hair care, DIY projects, arts and crafts, hula hoop dance, gardening, pictures of my pets....everything that I LOVE and can't wait to share with you.
